FWC describes the Harris Chain of Lakes as 8 primary lakes (Apopka, Harris, Griffin, Eustis, Dora, Beauclair, Carlton and Yale), about 75,000 acres in all, in Lake and Orange counties northwest of Orlando.

Dock & Fill is a planned local service that will bring boat fuel to private lakefront docks, starting on lakes around Orlando. We’re building the Harris Chain waitlist now.

Fueling a boat on Harris Chain today

The City of Tavares Seaplane Base & Marina on Lake Dora has a public fuel dock. The city lists ethanol-free marine fuel at market prices, available daily from 9 am to 5 pm except certain holidays (call 352-742-6267). We have no affiliation with it.

Can I get boat fuel delivered to my dock on Harris Chain?

Not yet. Dock & Fill is a waitlist for a planned dockside boat fuel service around Orlando and isn’t delivering anywhere today. Join the Harris Chain list and you’ll hear first when we’re approved and operating there.

When will Dock & Fill launch on Harris Chain?

There’s no date yet. Each lake launches only after fire-safety approval, the state licensing that applies, and insurance are in place. Lakes with strong waitlist interest and clear approvals come first.

How much will dock delivery cost?

Pricing will be set at launch, and we won’t quote numbers before then. Joining the waitlist is free. The first 5 signups per lake get a locked-in founding rate (a discount off the standard delivery fee for as long as they’re a customer) plus first pick of weekend and holiday slots.

Parcel figures come from public county property-appraiser data. Dock figures are our own estimates, shown with a range, not a count. Lake facts come from agency, county or city sources linked on this page.
